Who organized the debate?
The online debates were organized by Eten en Genen, The Biotechnology and Development Monitor, and The Network University (TNU).
The Biotechnology and Development Monitor is a journal that provides critical views on biotechnology, agriculture, sustainable development and food security issues for developing countries.
The Network University is a centre for collaborative learning, a network of universities and outside experts. TNU is rooted in the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It offers innovative courses online, addressing the learning needs of a worldwide audience of professionals and students.
Participants with different professional backgrounds share their experiences in interactive group discussions and assignments. They become co-producers in joint knowledge networks.
